Role summary
[seed_staging_v1] Support registered nurses on an elderly care ward, helping patients with personal care, mobility and nutrition. A good entry point for candidates building UK healthcare experience while working towards nursing registration.
Key responsibilities
- Assist patients with washing, dressing, toileting and mobility
- Record observations and report changes to the nurse in charge
- Support patients at mealtimes and monitor nutrition and hydration
- Help maintain a clean, safe and dignified ward environment
Essential requirements
- Previous care experience in a hospital, care home or community setting
- Care Certificate, or willingness to complete it within six months
- Good spoken and written English
- Ability to work early, late and night shifts
Desirable requirements
- Dementia care experience
- Moving and handling training
