Role summary
[seed_staging_v1] A commercial vehicle workshop needs experienced HGV technicians for servicing, MOT preparation and roadside support across a mixed fleet. Suits technicians already in the UK seeking a sponsorship transfer.
Key responsibilities
- Service, diagnose and repair HGVs, trailers and ancillary equipment
- Prepare vehicles for MOT and complete statutory inspections
- Diagnose electrical and engine management faults using diagnostic equipment
- Complete job cards, defect reports and service records accurately
Essential requirements
- Level 3 qualification in heavy vehicle maintenance or equivalent
- Experience servicing commercial vehicles or plant
- Full driving licence; HGV licence an advantage
- Current UK work permission with eligibility to switch sponsor
Desirable requirements
- Class 1 or 2 licence
- Trailer and tail-lift experience
